La Pared, also known as Playa del Viejo Rey, is a surf spot situated on the southeast coast of Fuerteventura. It caters well to experienced surfers who can tackle green waves, normally is better during medium and high tides. During low tide becomes a suitable location for beginners, allowing them to practice white water-propelled take-offs in shallow waters. Many nearby schools bring their students here for practice.

With its dark sandy bottom, La Pared Surf Spot has shifting sandbanks that influence the position of wave peaks. These sandbanks shift and reform with the swells, which in turn affects the wave peaks. In La Pared, advanced kitesurfers have the opportunity to ride the waves or use them as kicks for jumps. Kitesurfing is viable during low tide; however, the high tide restricts beach space for setting up gear. The dominant wind originates from the north, resulting in a side-onshore direction.

The big cliffside over the beach, offers a vantage point to observe the motion of the waves and witness stunning sunsets.
