Rocky Point, also known as Punta Elena, sits in Corralejo Bay in the northeast of Fuerteventura. The area divides into two sections, with “Rocky Point Inside” being closer to the coast and designated exclusively for surfing.
Large winter storms from the northwest make this spot ideal for surfing. When the North Shore spots become too overwhelming, Rocky Point provides surfable peaks for both left and right waves. You can surf here at any tide level, but you should exercise caution at low tide due to the shallow reef. Under the right conditions, beginners can also surf at Rocky Point Inside in Corralejo. However, be prepared for crowds when the conditions are favorable.
