Glass Beach, also known as ‘El Burro’, is a standout surf spot nestled on the east coast of Fuerteventura, right by the Corralejo Dunes. Not just a scenic beach that attracts tourists and locals, El Burro captivates surfing and windsurfing enthusiasts as well. The ideal times to surf here are during spring and summer when the northeast swells roll in and the trade winds kick up. Glass Beach Surf Spot is a  renowned reef-break produces both left and right waves. When there’s no wind, these waves have a smooth, glass-like surface that’s a joy to surf.

Typically, the wind picks up in the afternoon and calms by sunset, making mornings and evenings best for surfing, while afternoons are prime for windsurfing.
