Located in Corralejo Bay in the northeast of Fuerteventura, Rocky Point Outside, also known as Punta Elena, primarily serves as a surf spot. However, when the wind picks up, windsurfers and wing foilers join the scene.
Rocky Point Outside features big, gentle waves, making it ideal for experienced surfers, longboarders, and stand-up paddleboarders. On good days, can get very large and tubular waves.
The spot is most active between November and March, thanks to large swells coming from the northwest. When the surf spots on the North Shore are oversized, Rocky Point offers a viable alternative for surfing.
