Playa de la Escalera, also known as Playa del Aguila, is located 5 km south of El Cotillo on the northwest coast of Fuerteventura. Named for its characteristic staircase used for beach access, Playa de la Escalera offers a beach break that can accommodate beginners when the swell is moderate. However, caution should be exercised due to potential currents.
