The beach provides the perfect place for those looking for peace and quiet in a pristine natural setting. Sitting just next to Viejo Rey beach, La Pared does not have any facilities – however, there are various buildings, houses, restaurants and a surf camp on the way here. Due to the intensity of its waves and dangerous currents, La Pared is not a great place to swim; it is possible, but care must be taken.
The roar and clamour of the waves holds appeal too, complementing as it does the natural beauty of the surrounding area. At low tide, the scenery changes; stretches of sand appear alongside beige and brown pathways and the effect is picture-perfect. A stony path leads down to this small, delightful beach, as well as linking it with neighbouring Viejo Rey beach. Sunsets in this corner of paradise are spectacular. It is worth staying on the beach until the sun goes down; breathtaking views like this are not something you see every day.
