Tarajalejo, situated in the municipality of Tuineje to the south of Fuerteventura, is a quaint coastal town steeped in maritime traditions. Tarajalejo was formed centuries ago as a fishing village, nestled against the slopes of the Pedrera mountains. Visitors can easily reach Tarajalejo by car or by taking the bus.
