Tarajalejo, situated in the municipality of Tuineje to the south of Fuerteventura, is a quaint coastal town steeped in maritime traditions. Boasting a stunning semi-urban beach, it stretches impressively for approximately 1400 meters in length and spans 45 meters in width. Covered in fine, dark sand and dotted with pebbles, the beach presents a contrasting and beautiful sight. Even during the bustling summer months, the beach maintains its tranquility, mainly attracting local residents. Tarajalejo was formed centuries ago as a fishing village, nestled against the slopes of the Pedrera mountains. Visitors can easily reach Tarajalejo by car or by taking the bus.
