Giniginamar in Fuerteventura

Giniginamar: Peaceful Beach and Picturesque Village

Giniginamar, a small fishing town, retains its peaceful and tranquil charm. The beach stretches 550 meters in length and spans almost 50 meters in width. Sand and dark-colored pebbles make up its composition. Its clear waters invite calm bathing. Natural features like palm trees, tamarisks, and open scrub have led to the bay’s protection.

Giniginamar sits about 15 km north-east of the popular tourist resort Costa Calma on Fuerteventura’s southern coast.

Activities and Facilities

Fishermen’s houses and holiday apartments face the beach. Giniginamar Beach offers an excellent choice for family excursions because of its gentle waves, breezes, and lack of crowds. Its urban development includes access ramps for disabled people, showers, hammocks, and public telephones. The Red Cross operates here, and restaurants and bars, with terraces, dot both the surrounding area and the beach.
Giniginamar invites those seeking relaxation, peace, and solitude to experience the simple life in a picturesque fishing village.
