Bajo del Medio Beach stands out for its unique popcorn-like white coral pebbles. Even though it’s located in an urban setting, it’s often quieter than other Corralejo beaches. The beach’s location provides stunning views; on one side is the Corralejo coast and on the other, the picturesque islands of Lobos and Lanzarote. However, while high tide provides easy access for swimming, the rocky shoreline during low tide can make it challenging.

Situated in Corralejo, within the municipality of La Oliva, this beach is within walking distance from the town center. It’s also close to the famous surf spot, Punta Elena, commonly known as Rocky Point.

The nearby FSCH surf school offers surf lessons and equipment rentals, including surfboards and stand-up paddleboards. Several restaurants and bars are also within the vicinity.
