El Charco de Bristol (Corralejo)

El Charco de Bristol is a small semi-urban beach that is located in Corralejo, the village with the highest number of tourists in the municipality of La Oliva. This small beach is located in the northern part of Corralejo and extends for a length of 100 meters and about thirty in width.

On the beach of the Charco del Bristol you can walk your pet, clearly respecting the rules shown in the signs posted on both sides, it's a great opportunity for all those who want to spend some time at sea with their dog.

The beach of golden sand is set among the dark pointed rocks typical of the northern area of the island, very low and colorful water with the different types of algae that grow in its surroundings. It is a place of great landscape and floral value, with settlements of various typical plants and no longer so common to meet on the island.

During certain times of the year the Charco de Bristol is visited by various species of birds that prefer it during the reproductive period due to the large amount of fish and mollusc that grow in its waters of which they feed.
