Majanicho Beach is located on the island of Fuerteventura, in the town of La Oliva, nine kilometres from Corralejo. It has a countryside vibe and is one of the most solitary beaches in the region – even during high season, the number of visitors is relatively low compared to other beaches.
It is the perfect place to spend the day sunbathing, playing in
the sand with the little ones, and taking a dip in the tranquil waters of a lagoon with no current. Waves are gentle to moderate, and the sea’s white sands and stones are home to a small section of reef.
It is one of the most well-known and popular sites for lovers of watersports thanks to its waves once you are out of the lagoon – ideal for surfing, SUP, windsurfing and kitesurfing. The reef floor means this is a place for advanced-level sports enthusiasts. The beach’s semi-urban location makes it easily accessible by car or motorbike.
Majanicho is a small, quiet, picturesque fishing village. It is residential only, with no restaurants and no electricity.
