Las Coloradas

Las Coloradas: a quiet and virgin beach in Morro Jable

Las Coloradas is a serene beach situated near Morro Jable in the southern part of Fuerteventura. Stretching 230 meters in length and a mere 20 meters in width, this beach is bordered by cliffs that offer shade to its visitors. The cliffs give Las Coloradas its name, characterized by varied hues of red, brown, and black. Though the beach provides easy access to the sea, swimming is advisable only during calm sea conditions.

Location

Playa Coloradas sits adjacent to the port of Morro Jable on the Jandia Peninsula and can be easily reached either by car or on foot from the port.

Activities and Facilities

Like many of Fuerteventura’s beaches, Playa Las Coloradas is a favorite among naturists. It offers a private and discreet setting, yet remains open and easily accessible. Playa Coloradas is an excellent place for picnics, as there are bbq areas near the car park.
