The town of Costa Calma is located in southeastern Fuerteventura, in the municipality of Pájara, and is one of the island’s most significant tourist centres. Its beautiful beach with fair white sand is around two kilometres long, and there is a wide array of hotels less than a minute’s walk away from the beach.

Costa Calma has exceptionally gentle waves, so it is perfect for swimming almost all year round – especially with its stunning views and near-guaranteed good weather. There are also often strong winds, making it an excellent choice for watersports such as windsurfing and kitesurfing. Several watersports and sailing centres offer lessons for anyone wanting to try their hand at these activities, as well as equipment hire for more advanced enthusiasts.

Costa Calma is one of the busiest beaches on Fuerteventura. You can hire ski jet and banana boats, go diving or hiking, or use the beach’s showers, hammocks and parasols as well as avail yourself of a variety of beach bars and restaurants offering exquisite regional and international cuisine. Round off your trip with a cool beer or sangria with breathtaking sea views.
