Webcam in Fuerteventura offering pictures of the north-west side coast of Corralejo village, from El Charco de Bristol
Located in the northern part of Fuerteventura, this webcam in Corralejo offers a live view of the coast from the Bristol area, at the north-west side of the town.
On the pictures of the webcam Corralejo - Bristol appears the wind farm of Corralejo. In operation since April 2010, the two wind turbines produce 85% of the energy used by the La Oliva desalination plant. The Corralejo wind park, producing yearly 3.500.000 kw/h, is the second one in Fuerteventura, after the Jandía - Cañada del Río wind farm, with a production of 25.000.000 kw/h.
The position of the two wind turbines allow to check the wind direction in Corralejo for windsurfing and kitesurfing enthusiasts. This webcam make it possible also to estimate the current surf conditions on the north shore of Fuerteventura.
