Viejo Rey Beach is located very near to the town of La Pared in southern Pájara, on the southwestern coast of Fuerteventura.

A 500-metre long beach of fine dark sand hugging the base of the escarpment is adorned with large dunes. Constant winds whip up the sand and carry it down the beach. South of here, there is a series of smaller, similar beaches – some of which

only reveal themselves at low tide.

This is a surprising paradise for surfers. Impressive walls of water, an ocean which crashes against the rocks, wind that could almost carry you away: a true spectacle of nature. Surfers, tourists, locals, naturists, lovers of untamed nature and thrill-seekers can all find something here.

The wild surroundings have no facilities or buildings of any kind, so you will need to bring your own food and drink so you can stay long enough to enjoy the impressive sunset.
