Roque del Moro, this particular beach’s namesake, is a huge, imposing rock on the southern border of the famous Cofete Beach in Pájara, Fuerteventura. You can only get here in an off-road vehicle or by boat – a different experience for adventure-seekers. However, it could also be considered a good route for lovers of hiking, with a walk of a couple of kilometres offering colourful, interesting views with unique rock formations that

look at first sight to be carved from marble.

The beach is known for its clear waters and golden sand, its wild, remote setting, and its filmic vibe, with varying hues playing off each other to offer a truly idyllic natural landscape. It is also a great place to practise nudism, relax, and enjoy the area’s surreal, noiseless peace. Roque del Moro Beach offers unique photo opportunities for photography aficionados, too.

The waves here are strong, so staying shallow when swimming is advisable. Very advanced surfers will find that conditions are favourable for catching some waves. There are also areas where visitors can go fishing, and a large natural pool where you can sit and enjoy the tranquillity.
