Puerto Remedios Beach, located in a semiurban zone in La Oliva on the island of Fuerteventura, is a small beach, 200 metres across. It has white sand with some stony parts, and blue waters with moderate waves.
The beach is easily reachable by car or bus and is perfect for a relaxing family day out. Expert sportspeople also use the beach for windsurfing or
kitesurfing, enjoying the waves at Rocky Point (Punta Elena). Overall, this is a very peaceful beach, ideal for small children to play on, and the perfect beauty spot you can reach on foot.
More popular with locals than it is with tourists, this is one of Corralejo’s urban beaches – very pretty, although lacking some of the charm of the surrounding beaches due to the abandoned nearby buildings and the slippery, stony shore, which can make swimming difficult.
