El Puertito Beach comprises several beautiful coves and natural pools in shades of crystal blue, aquamarine and turquoise, alongside fine white sand. It is protected by a reef, and its abundant sealife – it is considered a natural aquarium – makes it the perfect place to dive and swim.
If you want to visit El Puertito Beach, you will have to take one of the ferries or water taxis which leave from Corralejo port. The journey takes around fifteen minutes.
The island has just one restaurant, just a few metres away from the jetty. You are advised to bring some snacks for the trip, and to book in advance if you intend to come during high season.
Lobos Island is quite small and can comfortably be explored on foot. This particular beach is 200 metres long and is one of the island’s main attractions. Its turquoise waters are the perfect place for snorkelling or spending a family day out immersed in nature.
