The beach has a blue flag, meaning it complies with the highest standards of environmental quality and safety. Many people, including surfers, windsurfers, and families, find Blanca Beach to be the perfect place for a pleasant stay.
It is one kilometre long and is a real favourite with residents of Puerto del Rosario. It has a good infrastructure, with showers, bathrooms, disabled access and vehicle parking – but there are no bars or restaurants on the beach.
The bay is roughly divided into two. Where the tide is low, visitors can sunbathe or take a dip; where it is high, professional and amateur sports people can test their skills on the water.
