Los Molinos beach is found in central-northern Fuerteventura in the municipality of Puerto del Rosario and just minutes away from the town of El Puertito de Los Molinos. It is a very small beach at the end of a near-dry stream and is flanked by imposing cliffs.

The area is sparsely populated, with just a few small, charming

houses, a chapel and a restaurant. The number of visitors to the beach fluctuates depending on the season. You can only swim here in summer, but you can scale the cliffs year-round, enjoying the fantastic views and beautiful sunsets. In September, the famous super-tides reveal breathtaking natural caves, only visible at low tide.

The beach is mostly made up of small, irregular black stones and the cliffs that enclose the bay. In summer, fine brown sand appears, while the winter tides only leave rocks visible. The currents, wind and waves are very strong, so visitors to the beach must take care. However, surfers – hobbyists and professionals alike – will find these conditions perfect for watersports.

Due to the uneven road, Los Molinos beach is best accessed by off-road (all-terrain) vehicle from the town of Tefia. There are no facilities (showers, parasols, toilets, disabled access, etc.), but there is parking, and a basic but welcoming restaurant – Casa Pon – which is open all year round.
