Located in a semi-urban area and spanning almost three kilometres – shared with two other beaches – Butihondo is one of the natural wonders of the town of Pájara, southeastern Fuerteventura.
The waves here are gentle, so children can play in the sand and swim safely while adults relax – and lovers of watersports can
find great conditions here, too, constantly watched over by a team of lifeguards. There are facilities including showers and deckchairs.
This is the ideal place to spend the summer holidays; its crystalline waters and fine white sand give the place a tropical vibe. Visitors looking to sample the local cuisine can choose from any of the nearby restaurants and try delicious food at affordable prices.
In the northern most area of the beach, there is a naturist zone.
