Glass Beach lends itself to all kinds of extreme sports, including surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing, as well as being an excellent beach for family outings, where children can enjoy playing in the sand or paddling in its clear waters. The small bay, protected from the waves, is the perfect place to swim and play. The beach is located in the Dunas de Corralejo Natural Park – one of northern Fuerteventura’s most popular destinations – and is easily reachable by car on the FV1 road.
The beach is strategically placed; the large dunes can be seen from every side, and the breathtaking Red Mountain is visible from the end of the beach.
One rather unusual characteristic of Glass Beach is its popularity with nudists, who share the space freely with families, children and sports enthusiasts. This beach is one of La Oliva’s main tourist attractions, its natural features making it one of the area’s most popular places to visit.
